Derby Party Menu

Step one of our party planner is to pick a theme and invite guests. For Derby the theme is already decided so we can move on to the next step ~choosing the menu.

Serving a buffet of prepare ahead foods will save a lot of stress and allow you time to enjoy your own party.

Mini Hot Brown Sandwiches

From Southern Living magazine these turkey sandwiches with the Kentucky Hot Brown touch are easy to prepare and a crowd favorite.

Pepper Jelly Spread

Our pepper jelly over cream cheese has been a huge hit at our in store events! 2 ingredients makes it a quick menu addition.

Chips and Salsa

Our corn tortilla chips and mild salsa have been on constant reorders since we debuted them in March!

Spicy Bar Mix

During a party I like to set out small bowls of this delicious bar mix for guests to enjoy while visiting.
Strawberry Roses

Easy and make ahead strawberry cut into rose shapes arranged in a horseshoe shape on a pretty platter add a run for the roses touch to the party.

Assortment of Cookies

Every year I buy an assortment of cookies from Plehns Bakery. It’s keeping on theme, ready to pickup the day before and the kids love them.
Mint Julep Brownies

One of the yummiest desserts I’ve ever made and guests will never know how quick they are to make! Take your favorite brownie mix and make according to package instructions. When you pull them out of the oven lay Andes mints on top and allow to soften. Spread evenly and enjoy!
